AA Award winning food & real ales in an East Renfrewshire Village

Fresh natural produce is the key to the highly acclaimed cuisine at
Uplawmoor, we have achieved SLTN Pub caterer of the year and have
been a finalist in the prestigious Thistle Awards “Natural Cooking
of Scotland” category.
More recently awarded a second AA (Automobile Association) rosette,
which found that our Steak with Haggis signature dish, ”inspires
gasps of admiration”. Therefore you can be sure of our commitment to
quality ingredients and fine food whether choosing from our A La
Carte or seasonal Table D’hote menus in the restaurant or taking a
simple meal in our relaxing lounge bar.
This is the result of our Head Chef Paul Brady, who since 1994 has
committed himself and his team to preparing creative imaginative
dishes from fresh, locally sourced produce. Typically, butchery
supplies are sourced from WP Tulloch of Paisley who uses just five
particular farms in the local area, including his own, which has the
highly regarded reputation for breeding top quality Aberdeen Angus.
We are also recommended by the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) Guide
and during the summer, visitors can also enjoy the beer garden,
which leads onto the village park.
